Teacher Workshops/ Seminars

FEBRUARY 2020: The pandemic forced many of our Greek Schools to close their physical locations and to find alternative methods to teach. GLC turned the pandemic into an opportunity and organized three teacher training online seminars to prepare the Greek language instructors for a smooth transition to online teaching. The seminars focused on various online teaching platforms and technologies available, online games and creating interactive experiences for the student.

3 Hierarches

The Three Hierarchs consist the link between Greek Orthodox Church and the ancient Greek philosophy of life, as they were highly educated, especially in rhetoric and philosophy, and all served the Greek Orthodox Church. They are considered protectors of the sciences and arts and Greek schools. The purpose of this joint effort with all of our schools is to provide kids with the opportunity of creative learning about Greek history, civilization and religion.
